When Dell Technologies launches new game-changing products into the global market, Product Operations Engineering has a vital role to play. The team coordinates all the operational activities that enable products to be introduced and sustained successfully. It’s about making sure there is consistency between production and test environments. It’s about ensuring hardware, software and networking changes are migrated into the production environment in a stable and controlled way. And it’s about creating build processes, coordinating product builds for release into production and setting up configuration specifications for releases.

What you’ll achieve

As a Production Operations Engineer you will closely with our internal Product Groups to ensure proper planning is in place to align engineering support resources with the demands of the business and align all for success. You will be the liaison that collaborates with the product and services team to drive optimal results across projects/programs related to Winning Roadmaps.

You will:

Conduct meetings with Product Groups and IEO Services teams.

Assist with Forecasting and Planning of needed materials to meet timelines

Manage relationships as the strategic interface between Product Groups and IEO Services team

Supports release planning ensuring roadmap alignment with IEO capabilities

Essential Requirements

Demonstrates good judgment in routine decision making

Can assist in the implementation and execution of programs and initiatives

Actively participates in a functional team environment

Understanding of Engineering Operations and planning

Advanced English level

Desirable Requirements

Previous experience as Project Manager

Previous use and understanding of ServiceNow ticketing system

Understands operations of engineering labs

Forecasting experience
