As  Technical Lead at Seavus, you will work in our Telecom Division, guide our team of Java Developers and collaborate with teams and projects of other groups to ensure seamless integration.

The work:

  • Take on a lead software developer role within the software development team of the Digital Transformation group
  • Design application implementation concepts and software design architectures in collaboration with product owner(s) and other stakeholders
  • Act as a trailblazer for new development areas and methodologies
  • Coach the development team on the implementation of agile software development methodologies
  • Take on an active role in project tracking and release scope management to enable the prediction of delivery dates and scope completion
  • Implement measures to ensure source code sustainability and maintainability
  • Coordinate and drive the continuous improvement of implementation concepts and product quality
  • Work as a fully qualified member of the agile software development team, engaging in development activities

Skills & requirements:

  • 6+  years of relevant work experience
  • Experience in system and architecture design
  • Experience in developing and optimizing server architectures
  • Experience with Java and J2EE technologies, Spring framework, SOAP and REST web services, XML, XSLT
  • Experience with JUnit/TestNG, Maven, Hibernate, rules engine (e.g. Drools), Spring Integration, caching, Oracle, UNIX
  • Experience with OOP, design patterns, modular code development, microservices, multi-threading
  • Experience with designing, documenting and maintaining SOAP and REST based APIs
  • Experience in cloud computing and mobile web development

Even better if you have:

  • Knowledge of industry best practices in enterprise-class software development and agile methodology
  • Experience in Telecommunications
  • Good analytical and problem solving skills
  • IT experience in the area of System Analysis, Design, Development, and Operational Support on various platforms
  • Demonstrated ability to understand complex telecommunication network system architecture and come up with system solutions to resolve complex business problems
  • Define, deliver, and support chatbot applications
  • Demonstrated ability to motivate, influence and collaborate at all levels of a large, complex organization
  • Ability to explain technical information to non-technical users
  • Ability to work closely and productively with design, development, brand, and IT
  • Ability to work well and thrive in a dynamic, large and complex environment
  • Strong ability to rapidly narrow down software bugs in complex environments
  • Excellent and effective Verbal and Written Communication Skills
