Chiara C

I'm a native Italian writer, a consecutive interpreter and a translator. I am specialized in medical, legal, financial, insurance, community services and other general fields of interpretation (ENG-ITA and ITA-ENG). Before COVID-19, I was also a tour guide in Lisbon, owning my own tour operator business.

I have also quite a long experience in administration, customer service and accounting management roles (from 2010 until 2018). I worked for different corporations and multinationals while living in Ireland, Holland and at last, Portugal. 

My academic background is in Journalism (Italy, uncompleted BD), Medical and General Interpreting (Professional Certification USA), Journalism (Diploma, Ireland), teaching English as a second language (Cambridge CELTA), playwriting and travel writing (Gotham Writers NYC), contemporary poetry (privately mentored in American poetry, English contemporary poetry and Italian contemporary poetry), travel writing in Italian (La scuola del viaggio), general creative writing (Michael Langan workshop in Lisbon).

I'm quite a creative person. In Lisbon, I work for an experimental theatre in English (Jà International Theatre). I have experience in creating podcasts, assisting plays production and coming up with writing genres aimed at publication.
