Bumble is expanding its analytical function and we are looking for an Analytics Manager, to be part of our Product Insights team. You will work closely with colleagues from around the business to deliver the best possible experience to our global user base. You will work on a wide range of data challenges, such as A/B testing, product feature analysis and lifetime modelling. In your role, you will get to work closely with a group of talented analysts as part of an open, inclusive community that aims to always be adopting the latest and best analytical techniques.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Mentor and develop a group of experienced, talented analysts.

Help lead the wider BI team in its continued growth and impact delivery.

Manipulate complex datasets using a range of tools. Proficiency in SQL is essential, with Python/R a preferred addition.

Deliver actionable insights to stakeholders within the organisation, at all levels.

Perform analysis on a variety of data topics, helping to solve challenges such as interpreting A/B test results, predicting user behaviours and finding top performing user segments.

Work collaboratively with stakeholders (both internal and external to BI) to identify and define new user challenges, along with potential solutions and improvements to remedy these.

EXPERIENCE WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Experience managing and developing other analysts.

Experience of managing and influencing significant programmes of work.

Proven commercial experience querying, analysing and providing insights from large datasets.

Advanced SQL: The ability to optimise and efficiently extract large volumes of data.

Experience in A/B testing analysis: experiment design, significance analysis, non-parametric methods.

Ability to engage key stakeholders such as developers, product managers and senior management.

Experience in presenting findings to varying audiences (technical and non-technical stakeholders) and catering presentation style appropriately

Excellent attention to detail, and a clear and concise writing style.

DESIRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

Python a plus: pandas, scikit-learn, statsmodels, matplotlib, seaborn, plotly, ggplot (any of the above). R equivalent equally a plus.

Experience leveraging Tableau/Looker/MicroStrategy or other data viz/dashboarding platforms.

Data Modeling.

Understanding of, and ability to use modelling (regression, classification etc)

Strong working knowledge of statistics

Mobile app and/or product team experience a plus

Analytical team management experience a plus
