Position

We are looking for a senior developer with at least two years experience on Node.js and Express to be included in the Synesthesia web development team. It doesn't matter where in the world you are because with us you can also work in full smart working mode.

Requirements

Basic technical skills:

• Good knowledge of Node JS and Javascript
• Experience on express or fastify
• Typescript experience welcome

Soft skills:

• Ability to work in a team
• Problem solving

Other information

• Good knowledge of written and spoken English
• Good knowledge of GIT
• Good knowledge of web security and networking
• Familiarity with development best practices (reusable, clean, testable, and secure)
• Experience in designing scalable cloud solutions
• Good knowledge of REST or GraphQL API
• Good knowledge of SQL or NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, mysql, ...)
• Good knowledge of the OOP paradigm
• Familiarity with linux and command line systems

Nice to have

• Experience in frontend development (HTML, CSS, JS, react)
• Familiarity with Agile methodology and Extreme programming
• Experience on container technologies (docker, kubernetes)
• Experience in cloud solutions (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and serverless architectures
• Experience with CI / CD infrastructures
