The Marketing Manager is a critical piece of our RevOps Team helping to develop and execute on a holistic marketing strategy that scales as we build our Growth and Enterprise Sales Teams. In this role you will partner with our sales teams to co-create lead generation strategy, processes, and programs as we tackle interesting and complicated challenges. We are looking to establish and expand our market positioning when it comes to our civic technology platforms and products (analysis, briefings, and data) and this role is essential to achieving our long-term objectives of building a more participatory democracy.

You Will:

  • Work with cross-functional groups including (but not limited to) Growth and Enterprise Sales, Product, and Strategy Teams to develop tactics that drive qualified leads 
  • Devise, implement, and evolve lead generation strategy including nurture campaigns, content, and cadencing
  • Oversee social media, reputation management & SEO monitoring, analysis and reporting to measure ROI and impact
  • Drive forward marketing initiatives that target our Ideal Customer Profile for our technology platforms and products 
  • Analyze results of marketing campaigns and programs and push forward next steps at a rigorous pace
  • Coordinate closely with the RevOps Team to ensure timely follow-up and well-qualified leads
  • Manage public relations, including generating an agenda of events for the company to actively participate in
  • Own key message creation, CRM and marketing automation tool management and administration
  • Gather, decipher, and report on customer acquisition and marketing insights and analytics
  • Stay abreast of applicable market segments, helping to define and evolve buyer personas, key pain points/challenges, and value messaging
  • Utilize data insights to develop new growth strategies and initiatives

You Bring:

  • 5+ years marketing and demand generation experience in either larger enterprise companies or tech startup environments
  • A proven track record of building successful lead generation and managing funnel metrics with strong accountability for generating pipeline/revenue 
  • Experience with experimentation (A/B testing, etc.); specifically for use around demand generation activities
  • Strong analytical skills with an incredible attention to detail and an ability to translate data into actionable recommendations
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills with the ability to collaborate at all levels within the organization in a geographically dispersed environment
  • Process-driven with a keen eye for detail and simplicity
