About the Role:

Uber’s Global Business Development team develops and manages strategic partnerships across Uber's Mobility, Delivery, and Freight business units.

As a Strategy & Planning Lead, you will have the opportunity to shape and deliver on the vision and strategy of Uber's Global Business Development team.

The ideal candidate will have an excellent ability to think strategically and analytically about business opportunities, and the executive presence to influence deal leads and cross-functional stakeholders.

What You'll Do:

Work with the BD Leadership Team to develop long-term partnership strategies and frameworks to maximize value to Uber overall.

Address key strategic questions through analytical frameworks and insights to build a balanced and long-term advantage for Global Business Development.

Partner with global deal leads to determine deal strategy, including using your financial modeling skills to understand how different structures will impact Uber and partner goals.

Develop frameworks and pipelines to measure the impact of a broad variety of partnership archetypes.

Communicate findings and insights to diverse audiences from senior executives to cross-functional stakeholders, including coordinating monthly and quarterly business reviews.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree.

6+ years of analytical or strategy experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

10+ years of professional working experience.

2+ years of people management experience.

Exposure to Business development, Corporate development, Consulting, or external partner-facing roles is a plus

An ability to synthesize information quickly, to distill key takeaways, and to weave insights into a compelling story that clarifies and inspires.

An ability to build deep relationships across a broad organization, cultivate a fun and collaborative work environment, and identify problems from different perspectives. Humility and empathy are essential to success in this role.

High standards and a bias toward action. You can find the context and information you need through relationships across the organization, you push for clarity and delivery, and you hold a high bar from your contributions and those of the people you work with.

Outstanding SQL & Excel / data management skills.
