Job description

Position Overview

The Global BIM Coordinator plays a pivotal role in supporting Autodesk’s Workplace Projects Team’s strategic goal of facility digitization with a focus on fortification of BIM (Building Information Modeling) delivery processes and platforms. Supports facility projects from design through operations - utilizing Autodesk platforms and products to manage and distribute building information to our global teams.

Responsibilities

Coordinate, optimize, and audit the data and documentation as required to support an effective handover from the construction phase to the operations phase of a facility’s lifecycle.

Provide setup, technical support, training, and troubleshooting as needed to successfully administer and maintain the BIM 360 Ops platform within the Autodesk Workplace & Travel organization.

Generate reports, or exports, derived from BIM platforms for asset records at regular intervals (or ad-hoc), as directed.

May perform database data entry and maintenance tasks. Maintains accurate and timely problem tracking and resolution records.

Assist with testing, migration, and roll-out of new technologies implemented by the Global Projects Team.

Assist with 3D scanning/ reality capture initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications

2+ years working with BIM applications within a Workplace/ Facilities organization.

Experience coordinating initiatives and driving efforts across multiple regions, languages, and time-zones with cross-functional stakeholders.

Ability to adapt to changing needs and priorities to keep pace with evolving technology and strategy.

Strong administrative, communication, and data-management skills with expertise in the Office 365 Suite.

Ability to prioritize multiple concurrent tasks, problem-solve remotely with minimal supervision, and record progress/ track issues resulting from daily work.

Knowledgeable within the realm of workplace, CAD/ BIM, and facilities management.

Team-oriented, dedicated to quality, and desire for continuous learning in a fast-paced environment.
